Chloe testified before the U.S. Congress last week to address the ‘dangers and due process violation’ of gender reassignment surgeries and ‘gender-affirming care.’
‘What message do I want to bring to American teenagers and their families? I didn’t need to be lied to. I needed compassion. I needed to be loved. I need to be getting therapy to help me work through my issues,’ she said.
‘Not affirmed to my delusion that by transforming into a boy, it would solve all my problems.’
Cole described having mental health issues and family problems as a child and becoming exposed to transgender discussions online.
Clinicians railroaded her into taking puberty blockers and then hormones and ultimately surgery.
