Matthew Blake, who wears makeup and women’s clothing and performs under the name Flamy Grant, released the album “Bible Belt Baby” last year but recently hit the top spot on the iTunes Christian and Gospel chart along with the album’s lead single, “Good Day.” CLICK HERE for the rest of this story.This remarkable development creates several worthy questions for the Body of Christ – – How should we respond to those in our midst who struggle with “gender identity” and “sexual orientation” issues ? Can we thread the needle of truth and grace in a manner that draws people toward true human flourishing ?– How has a generation of young people, who placed Matthew Blake (Flamy Grant) on top of the Christian music charts, been deceived to the point where they think God’s design for sexuality is outdated and that we are the creators of our own truth ?– What can we do in practical, effective and Christ-centered ways to equip ourselves to respond to this trend in ways that glorify God and brings people, with all their baggage, to the foot of the cross and surrender to His plan ?In answering some of those hard but necessary questions, Alaska Family Council is privileged to be bringing up Chloe Cole next week for two public events to hear from someone who bought into the lie, perpetuated by “experts” int he medical, counseling & educational arenas. Chloe testified before the U.S. Congress last week to address the ‘dangers and due process violation’ of gender reassignment surgeries and ‘gender-affirming care.’
‘What message do I want to bring to American teenagers and their families? I didn’t need to be lied to. I needed compassion. I needed to be loved. I need to be getting therapy to help me work through my issues,’ she said.
‘Not affirmed to my delusion that by transforming into a boy, it would solve all my problems.’
Cole described having mental health issues and family problems as a child and becoming exposed to transgender discussions online.
Clinicians railroaded her into taking puberty blockers and then hormones and ultimately surgery.
