Why Worldview Matters – 2024 Annual Dinner

Why Worldview Matters – 2024 Annual Dinner

Tickets and sponsorships are now available for our 2024 Annual Dinner with Dr. Jeff Myers, President of Summit Ministries – a stellar ministry reaching thousands of young adults each year on why a Biblical Worldview matters.

The Dinner takes place on Friday, September 27th at Anchorage Grace Church and is the most important fundraiser of the year for Alaska Family Council.

In addition to exceptional food, fellowship and inspiration, Dr. Myers will bring us boots-on-the-ground perspectives from three of the most active theaters in the battle of worldviews:

  1. the battles over truth,
  2. the hearts and minds of Generation Z, and
  3. the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Dr. Myers offers a treasure trove of strategies poised to inspire anyone involved in or seeking wisdom in these crucial battles.

You’ll hear a clarion call to uphold personal integrity amid societal manipulation, and be reminded to recognize your indispensable role in God’s ongoing cultural commission.

Dr. Jeff Myers is President of Summit Ministries in Manitou Springs, which exists to equip and support students (age 16-22) to embrace God’s truth and champion a biblical worldview. As an educator and entrepreneur, Dr. Myers has become one of America’s most respected authorities on youth leadership development and the necessity of a Biblical Worldview for Christ followers.

Through his speaking engagements and media appearances, Dr. Myers has become a fresh voice offering humor and insight from a Christian worldview. Dr. Myers holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Denver, and is the author of 16 books, including the Understanding the Faith, Understanding the Times, and Understanding the Culture textbooks which are studied by tens of thousands of students at their campus in Colorado near the entrance of Garden of the Gods, an other-worldly park teeming with magnificent sandstone formations.

His latest books are Truth Changes Everything: How People of Faith Can Transform the World in Times of Crisis and Should Christians Support Israel?
