Religious Liberty

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

– First Amendment, U.S. Constitution

The United States Constitution forever enshrined a number of different God-given rights for all Americans. Many forget that passing constitutional amendments has always been a difficult process in the United States, and the Bill of Rights was no exception.

Alaska Family Council believes in the importance of religious liberty. From protecting pastors from being required to perform a marriage ceremony that violates their convictions, to churches being unlawfully taxes and threatened, to business owners being fined for adhering to their values, Alaska Family Council will be there.
